Snake Safety!

The students watched a snake catching from a far and safe distance during Thursday's recess. Since this event evoked wonderful conversations and questions about snakes and safety around snakes, we decided to explore this topic further during enrichment on Friday.

The students picked partners and researched their chosen snake with books and internet resources. The students studied the snakes habitat, eating habits, interesting facts, description and snake safety. The students created a wonderful bulletin with this information. From this bulletin, the students created a power point slide on their snake. These are some pictures of Miss Livaudais explaining how to save their power points. More pictures to come soon!
