Dear Parents,
Math: We have finished our last day of geometry. The assessment will be on Monday, February 4th. I have sent home a review with your son/daughter. It is a pretty extensive packet. They do not need to complete it but it will be helpful to review some of the concepts.
Science: We finished our solar system & water cycle this week. We took our assessment after a long jeopardy review session with Miss Livaudais' class. The grades were very good overall. We are moving on to economics (social studies) and you will see more information coming up on the economics fair.
Homework: We will be changing the homework up next week. The changes are being made so that we can review previous skills that the students are expected to know for the STAAR test. If you do have time, please check over your child's work before they turn their assignment in on Monday.
Handwriting: We will switch back to cursive handwriting for next week so please do not look for a Words Their Way list.
Early Release: There is an early release day on Wednesday, Feb. 6th.
Valentine's Day Party: The Valentine's Day party will be on the 14th starting at 1:30. Come join us! (Please no younger siblings).Your son/daughter may also decorate a shoe box to bring to school to collect their valentines.
