Our Journey:

Throughout the year, I knew this was the time.

The time to end childhood hunger.

At the beginning of the year, we started this project by working on questions about childhood hunger. These questions helped us with the start of our project.

We started researching and writing a rough draft about childhood hunger and wrote a letter to President Obama. President Obama wrote back! He gave us a picture of his dog too!

The next thing we did was write letters to Ellen. We gave her a wristband and t-shirt too!

This is when I decided childhood hunger needed to end and that I belonged on this project. Helping solve childhood hunger feels great! No child should be hungry. So help us change kids lives forever and maybe it will change your life too!

I am here to spread the word. If you can donate food to the Capital Area Food Bank, that would be a great gift to our project.

If I ever need to help another person out again, I will know what to do. I feel like I can do anything now and you should feel like that too!

Childhood hunger is not only happening in the US. It is happening around the world. So let’s get together and make a difference!
